Sep 10 is the teachers’ day in China. Back when I was a student in China, I remember we would send cards to our teachers acknowledging their cultivation. I used to treat the celebration a responsibility and have long forgotten this holiday since coming to the States. Today when I realized the existence of such holiday, I felt quite funny. I haven’t heard of such a holiday in the States. Or, is there one?
